SMILE

One day I saw you, you smiled at me
One night I dreamt of you sweet smile
One smile of you, blooms for me everyday
The smile that makes my day right

Smiles make lies, lies that sometimes hurt
Smiles are not always true, but still you believe it
Believing a smile is the wackiest feeling ever
Feeling special but eventually tear will fell

You gave the smile that I have now
The smiles that wipes the tears in my eyes
Tears from someone whop hurts me a lot
And I pray that, that smile will not lead to tears anymore

Your smile is my pillow at night, my food by dinner
The pen I used in class and my vitamin for the day
But I was wrong, I found you beside her
She gave you the smile you have, the smile that I thought was mine

Tears fell, sweet turns to sour, face looks shocked, world crashed
Colors wipe out, sunny turns to black and the smile was lost
I realized, your smile was fake, fake as your face!

Is Frenzy Friendly? :)

Nowadys, teenagers are very curiuos about everything. They thought that they are smart enough to do what adults do. And the thing is, they are so curious even when it comes to having sex. This is a very serious problem we must all look into.

Why is this a big problem? We can say this causes unwanted teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Endorsing contraceptives like “frendzy” is definitely wrong. This will only give teens more disturbing ideas about sex. They will think tha it is okay because they have protection, they will not get pregnant.

Some teenegars simply don’t realize how easy it is for someone to become pregnant, which only makes this worst.

Teens are not yet ready to start a family. They don’t know anything about having a family . they don’t even have money of their own. How will they provide the necessary things to keeep their family alive?

To all the teens out there, think a hundred thousand times before jumping into the bed with someone. Don’t rush into things like sex. Do it with the right person and at the right time. If the one you love asks you to do it with him, just say NO.

ONDOY SUPER TYPHOON ;)

It was a rainy morning of September 27, 2010. I was preparing to go to school for my 9am class, I was finished taking a bath and eating my breakfast. I’m having some qualms in going to school because it’s raining very hard. Media Networks announced that class will be canceled; frankly speaking, I was totally relieved to know that news. I went out to take a bath (storm); I’m with my little brother. I went to my friend’s house, and invite him in the rain. I was surprised that the water level is reaching almost the gate of our house and some one shouted “hala baha na pati sa loob ng bahay namin”. I rushed to our house to check, I was shocked that, the water got inside our house. I hurried to get all the things to a safer place. I texted my mom to go home already because I’m having worries that the flood will go up and up. Hours passed, the rain didn’t stop, me, my brother and Cess took all the appliances and furniture up on the bed to prevent from being wet. It’s almost 12 in the midnight but nor my mom and dad was not there yet. My phone was dead, surroundings were full of water, I’m in cold due to the flood and unfortunately we didn’t cook food that night because the gas range was soaking in the flood. Time passed, I decided to get my brother and Cess in a safer place. We arrange all the things, move and organized everything, we waited on our Double-Deck bed until we got asleep. When we woke up, my mom rushed to us crying and asking if were ok and are we hurt. She was shocked that almost half our belonging were wet. She was thankful also because we were there even though we gone to a lot of struggles and we were safe.

That situation changes my life and perspective. I leaned to cherish every moment of my life; I learned to appreciate every little thing existing in this Earth. I appreciate more the air I breathe, the food I shared with my love ones and especially I appreciate the fact that life is really full of surprises, as Forest Gump said “life is like a box of chocolate you can never know what’s inside it
